Almost half of all adults have said they have tuned into Netflix, Now TV, Amazon Prime Video or other similar commercial internet-assed services over the past three months.
The official figures come from the annual Internet Access and Use report from the Office for National Statistics, and show an increase from less than a third of respondants in 2016 - the last time the data was given.
Meanwhile, the study also shows that the percentage of British households with internet access has not changed since last year, as it's remained at 90%.
However, the report suggests that while access has stayed the same, usage has increased.
With an increase of 6%, it found that 86% of over-16s have revealed they use the internet daily, or almot every day.
