The South Korean tech giants are rumoured to be launching the speedy device, which will be capable of downloading 4K videos, next year.
US mobile network AT&T announced: "We're pleased to announce we're working with Samsung to bring another standards-based 5G device to AT&T customers in 2019.
"This smartphone from Samsung will be able to access both 5G mmWave and sub-6 GHz. We expect to offer this device in the second half of 2019."
This follows the news that the device could feature the smallest bezels ever.
As the companies behind major devices work to eliminate them, it appears the tech giant could take the lead based on a new leaked screen protector.
In a clip shared by Ice universe, the screen protector seems to have almost zero bezel on any edge of the device.
While they are technically still there, they're so slim that they're essentially non-existent.
Although the report isn't definite, it does fit in with a design Samsung itself recently showed off.
Last month, the firm unveiled four new screen designs, and one of these - branded the 'New Infinity' - seemingly had no bezels, which suggested it could be on the cards for the new model.
Meanwhile, it follows rumours that the Galaxy S10 will feature an 'Infinity-O' display which has a small cut-out for a front-facing camera - but doesn't feature a bezel or notch.
Although the screen protector doesn't have a cut-out in its design, it wouldn't necessarily be needed as it's transparent.
