Travel operator Tourlane have released a list of the most easy cities in the world to explore by foot, by working out how many miles and minutes walk between the five top attractions.
For Florence, this includes the Ponte Vecchio bridge, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Piazzas - del Duomo and della Signoria - as well as the Uffizi gallery.
Venice is second on the list, with just 0.6 miles, or 12 minutes walk, between the five major landmarks - including Rialto Bridge, St. Mark's Square, St. Mark's Basilica, Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs.
Elsewhere in the top five is Riga in Lativa, Athens in Greece and Hamburg in Germany. Edinburgh, Scotland; Madrid in Spain and Porto in Portugal all tie in sixth place with 2.2 miles or 44 minutes between landmarks. Tallinn in Estonia and Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, took the remaining two places in the top 10 with 2.3 miles, or 46 minutes.
Also featuring high up the list includes top tourist destinations such as Rome, Italy; Sydney, Australia and Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
