Lack of travel is making people feel anxious

Nearly half of people admit that not being able to travel is making them anxious and stressed.

The Amex Trendex report has found that there is a great emotional toll for people not being able to head abroad owing to the coronavirus pandemic, with 48 per cent of people admitting a lack of travel has made them feel anxious and stressed. A further 78 per cent of people also confessed that travelling is one of the things they miss most at the moment.

Their report reads: "Nearly half (48%) of consumers surveyed believe not being able to travel right now is making them feel anxious and stressed and 3 in 4 consumers (78%) say travelling is one of the top activities they miss the most right now ... Despite spending more time at home together over the past few months, consumers are still eager to travel with members of their households (67%) compared to traveling by themselves (10%) once restrictions are lifted."
