The budget hotel brand - which is the UK's largest hotel brand with more than 800 hotels across the country - opened its first hotel in the German city some time ago and now bosses are thrilled that the chain is expanding within the historic location.
Erik Friemuth, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Premier Inn Germany, said: "Lübeck is rightly considered one of the most beautiful cities in Germany.
"With more than 2.2 million guest overnight stays per year, the Hanseatic city is one of the top 20 destinations in Germany. We are therefore delighted to be able to offer our guests in this historically unique metropolis another centrally located hotel, where both leisure and business travelers will find one thing above all else in addition to the best service - excellent sleep.."
Meanwhile, Florian Thies, hotel manager noted that the new hotel is in a great location for tourists eager to visit some of the major landmarks within the city.
He said: "Most of Lübeck's attractions are within walking distance from our hotel. The famous Holsten Gate, the salt warehouses, the old town hall and the cathedral are just a few minutes' walk away. Together with my team, I am really looking forward to welcoming our guests and doing our part to make them feel welcome in this wonderful city right from the start."
