The social networking platform is making a simple but welcomed change to its mobile app to reduce the red notifications appearing, and there will even be the option to remove some shortcuts entirely.
As reported by TechCrunch, the new feature - which is called Shortcut Bar Settings - gives users the option to remove certain tabs including Marketplace, Groups, Watch, Events, Profile and more.
As well as totally ditching them, you'll also be able to simply silence the notification dots.
Facebook has confirmed the change is rolling out to everyone, with most iOS users already able to make use while the rest of Android owners are set to get it over the next few weeks.
A spokesperson said: "We are rolling out navigation bar controls to make it easier for people to connect with the things they like and control the notifications they get within the Facebook app."
It's easy to use - you just have to tap and hold on any of the shortcuts in the navigation bar at the bottom of the Facebook homescreen on iOS, or at the top on Android.
A menu will pop up, giving you the option to remove the tab entirely and clear up some space, or simply disable to red notification count overlays.
