The world's richest man has announced a new campaign and the Bezos Earth Fund, which he will be starting with some of his own money to tackle "the biggest threat to our planet".
He said in an Instagram post: "I want to work alongside others both to amplify known ways and to explore new ways of fighting the devastating impact of climate change on this planet we all share.
"This global initiative will fund scientists, activists, NGOs--any effort that offers a real possibility to help preserve and protect the natural world.
"We can save Earth. It's going to take collective action from big companies, small companies, nation states, global organisations, and individuals."
The first of these grants is set to go out this summer.
The Bezos Earth Fund will be separate from Amazon's own programmes, with the first $10 billion coming directly from the founder himself, which follows his previous fund - The Day 1 Families Fund - which finances a number of non-profit schools to help out homeless families in need.
Bezos and his ex-wife MacKenzie Bezos pledged $2 billion to help that effort.
