The stunning Greek resort has been recognised for its efforts to preserve and enhance the natural environment along the Mediterranean coastline.
Five flags have been given to Sani Resort beaches - Sani Dunes, Sani Beach, Sani Club, Sani Asterias and Sani Marina - with another five to its yachts, including Sani Cat, Sani Grace, Sani Riva, Sani Swan and Sani Wind.
In a press release, the resort said: "Blue Flag is one of the world's most recognised eco-labels awarded to beaches, marinas, and sustainable boating tourism operators.
"Sani is delighted to have achieved the Blue Flag status once again this year, highlighting the resort's ongoing commitment to the environment and cementing its place as a world leader in luxury hospitality."
The beach management team works to "ensure optimum cleanliness and safety", and there are "plans to deal with any pollution or detrimental risks to the environment".
In terms of its yachts, all five meet the Blue Flag's strict environmental criteria when it comes to respecting marine life, plus abiding fishing regulations and prohibiting the release of toxic pollution and waste water into the sea.
Sani Resort as a whole was recognised as a Global Ecological Scenic spot last year, and received an award for excellence in sustainability at the Global Forum on Human Settlements 2021, which is backed by the United Nations Environmental Programme.
Meanwhile, the resort also has a recent history of being named the World's Leading Luxury Green Resort and World's Leading Family and Beach Resort for two and three consecutive years, respectively.
