Hoeness wants the 32-year-old striker to remain at the Allianz Arena amid growing speculation about his long-term future, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal all reportedly monitoring developments as the England captain continues his remarkable scoring form.
Speaking to Bild, Hoeness said: “He had a release clause every year until the end of January. We assume that he will definitely fulfil his contract until 2027.
“And if it were up to us – and I’ve heard it’s up to him too – then he will extend it.”
Kane has been exceptional since transitioning to Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2023.
After breaking the Bundesliga scoring record for a debut season in 2023/24, he has started the current campaign with 14 goals and three assists in 12 league appearances, alongside another five strikes in the UEFA Champions League.
His influence has been central to Bayern’s domestic and European ambitions, with the club looking to reclaim control of the title race after last season’s shock loss to Bayer Leverkusen.
Kane previously played down the idea of returning to English football, and said he was “fully all in” at Bayern Munich.
Speaking about coming back to English football, he said: “In terms of the Premier League, I don't know.
“If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
“Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
“What I have learnt in my career is that different opportunities and different timings happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern, right now I am fully all in with Bayern.”
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank had said he would want Kane to come back to the London club, but the striker insisted he is open to extending his time in the Bundesliga.
He said: “In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that.
“I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation.
“Obviously it depends on how the next year or so goes and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not thinking about anything else.”
